Suspending or Restoring a Subscriber in the Portal

Overview

This article explains how to suspend a subscriber in the system and how to restore (reactivate) them if needed.

Solution

Suspend a subscriber

  • Go to the Subscribers page

    • Navigate to:
      Fulfillment > Users > Subscribers

  • Find the subscriber(s)

    • Use the search field to look up the subscriber by name, site, or User ID
    • Select the subscriber(s) by ticking the checkbox next to their name.
  • Open the Actions menu

    • On the right side of the page, locate the Actions menu.
    • Click CHANGE STATUS.
  • Select the new status
In the status list, choose one of the following options:

    • RESTORE USER – moves the subscriber back to Active status.
    • RESTRICT USER – limits what the subscriber can access/use without fully suspending them.
    • SUSPEND USERtemporarily disables the subscriber’s access.
  • To suspend the subscriber, select SUSPEND USER.

Restore a suspended subscriber

If a subscriber has been suspended and you want to return them to Active:

  1. Go to Fulfillment > Users > Subscribers.
  2. Find and select the subscriber.
  3. In the Actions menu, click CHANGE STATUS.
  4. Choose RESTORE USER to move the subscriber back to Active status.

If you cannot suspend or restore the subscriber

If you:

  • Do not see the CHANGE STATUS option,
  • Cannot find the subscriber, or
  • See an error when changing status,

Make sure you selected a subscriber via the checkbox left of their User ID, and contact Support with:

  • The subscriber’s User ID
  • The action you tried (Suspend, Restore, Restrict)
  • A screenshot of any error message (if available)

Support can verify your permissions, check system issues, and complete the status change on your behalf if needed.
